This is a selection of images that best represents the kind of work I have focused on over the past years. This is my commissioned work, mostly for council magazines, animal charities, hospitals and Transport for London.
These are my bread and butter images; varied, uncomplicated and to the point. Telling a story, always with a hint of humour.

What I most love about my job is meeting different people every day, from refugees to mayors, from people with learning difficulties to foster parents for disabled children, from vets to local business men. I meet them all and try to capture something about their passion. Whatever that may be.

British Food Project

My passion for food and curiosity for its origin, inspired me to travel Britain in search of artisanal and true food.

I wanted to discover what was behind my shop bought organic cheddar. How it is made, where and who by ? As I learned, it requires a lot of hard physical work, determination and pride.

And what about English wine ? Who are these brave and passionate people ? What does such a vineyard look like and who works there ?

Do they really still use horses to work the land and who picks the fruit in the orchards ?

Could I document the sense of space and freedom of free range poultry. The chickens I photographed can walk for miles, the noisy turkeys live in woods and the timid geese stay close together, looking for protection from their vast landscape. They truly did experience space and freedom.

Could I find a magical pumpkin place, a place Cinderella would have called home ? A man with a grey beard and a wooly hat guided me to just such a place and I instantly stepped back in time. Several varieties of pumpkin were displayed on the church wall right by the graveyard. It could have been a film set and I jumped for joy.

I witnessed a true love for the earth and what it provides us with. I met strong families working together to work the land and live of it and I love being part of this by documenting it.

My book "Luscious Britain" is for sale here : http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/504974
